According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, on the evening of December 2, the Shenzhou 14 and Shenzhou 15 astronaut crews carried out the handover ceremony, and the two crews handed over the keys to the Chinese space station. This is the first on-orbit handover completed by the Chinese astronaut crew, and the Chinese space station officially opens the long-term manned residence mode.

The Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew has completed all the scheduled tasks and will return today. The Dongfeng landing site and various test systems have also been prepared to welcome astronauts home.

This time, the Shenzhou 14 spacecraft returned at night, and the Dongfeng landing site based on the most difficult, complex, cold, and darkest conditions, formulated spacecraft tracking and measurement schemes, return capsule search and recovery plans, astronaut on-site rescue plans, etc. They also continue to upgrade technology and build an integrated sky-ground search and guidance system; Raising all kinds of materials and equipment, including lighting and cold protection materials; Focus on carrying out training on the disposal of extreme situations such as the reverse buckle of the return cabin, the burial of the hatch, and the deformation of the cabin to ensure the successful completion of this search and rescue recovery task.
After the Shenzhou 15 manned spacecraft entered orbit, it was successfully docked at the forward port of the space station Sky and the core module at 5:42 on November 30, 2022 Beijing time, and the entire docking process lasted about 6.5 hours. After the manned spacecraft and the space station combination successfully achieved autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking, the Shenzhou 15 astronaut crew entered the orbital module from the spacecraft return module. After completing all preparations, at 7:33 on November 30, 2022 Beijing time, the long-awaited Shenzhou 14 astronaut crew successfully opened the “home” and warmly welcomed their relatives from afar to settle in the “Tiangong”. Subsequently, the two astronaut crews of the “Victory Division” left a space group photo that was enough to go down in history in Chinese their “space home”.
